This was absolutely perfect! I was so excited to read a story about Annabel, Lena's mother, and I was not disappointed by this story. Finding out about Annabel's life was so heartbreaking yet beautiful at the same time. What really shocked me was the tie in with Thomas. I hadn't realized that Thomas from the Crypts was the same Thomas that Rachel was in love with before the cure. It kind of made me wonder if that was why he was helping Annabel, or something like that. (I'm probably just reading too far into it.) For people who haven't read Delirium yet, I recommend waiting until after book one to read this story (even though it's listed as #0.5). I definitely wouldn't have wanted to know all this background before reading book one. Overall, this story was great and, for me, added a lot of depth to Annabel and even Lena.
