Hex Hall (Hex Hall, #1) - Rachel Hawkins This book kept me on my toes from the beginning to the end. The plot progressed at a steady pace, bringing about questions that I needed answers to. Just as one question was answered, another would arise and I would keep saying, "one more chapter!" My only regret is staying up late while reading this. My paranoia was heightened as I read this and I found myself constantly jumping at "things that go bump in the night". All in all, I enjoyed reading about Sophie's troubles - she really was the average teenage girl (minus the witchy-ness, of course) - and watching the mystery unfold.
